Trying to Stay Cool....

These past few days have been HOT.HOT.HOT!! We have been staying inside with Air conditioning (not necessarily home, but an indoor activity) until around 6:00 pm....then we all need some fresh air. So, we have been enjoying our backyard! Matt has been cooking dinner on the grill, while the girls get their suits on and enjoy the little pool Uncle Brian and Aunt Donna bought for the girls! They LOVE it! I love this schedule because we don't have to worry about sunscreen and I don't have to heat up the house to cook dinner!

In addition to the pool, Matt set up a Sprinkler for the girls to run threw...take a look at the pictures above and below this text to get an idea of which girl likes the sprinkler and which one does not!! MJ LOVES it and doesn't want to stop, while Madelin is terrified of it and won't go near it!

Even though Madie doesn't like the sprinkler, she is happy playing elsewhere in the backyard while her sister entertains herself with the sprinkler.

It really has been SO HOT this week! I'll be doing a very similar post to yours later today because that is all that we have been doing this week here in Maine too -- enjoying our little pool a sprinkler! I hope some cooler air comes your way very soon. Until then try to stay cool!

Love,
Rebecca
