Pre-school Class #1

My Dearest Michaela,

You made Mommy and Daddy so proud on your first day of pre-school! You walked right into your classroom and greeted your teacher with your sweet, warm smile and an excited, "Hi!" Mrs. Norris was excited to see you, chatted with you for a minute and then told you to go find your cubby and hang up your bookbag.

I was so pleased to see you follow her directions. I LOVE your Pig Tails and ribbons...you are so adorable! You easily said goodbye to me and gave me a kiss and off you went to explore this new phase of your life. (I am crying now as I type this.) I can't tell you how comforting it was to see you embrace this new phase with Excitement and Confidence.

When Mommy and Daddy came to pick you up, we were happy to see that you were enjoying your time at pre-school. It didn't surprise us at all that you found some blocks to build with. You LOVE building castles and such...We hope you always work towards building your DREAMS.

You were so engrossed in your building, that it took you a few minutes to realize that we were there. On our way out, you excitedly told us all about your day...you LOVED it and we are so happy for you!

To our Readers:: Check out Joy's Blog here for more pictures from MJ's first day! Somehow, I didn't get any shots of MJ and Natalie, but Joy did =) MJ is SO very happy that Natalie is in her class!!!

Loved your post! I think you have cried enough this week! I think you should just follow Madelins lead...wave hello to everyone and be too engrossed in what they're doing to get upset. =)

I loved her pigtails too! Meant to ask you were they barrettes or did you tie ribbons in? Too cute!
