Homemade Dinner Rolls

Sometime last week, I introduced myself to a new Kitchen Friend...Yeast!! Up until now, I have shyed away from using recipes with Yeast. After a friend talked about how much she uses it and kept saying how easy it was, I thought I would give it a try. (Thanks, Robin). So, I made Dinner Rolls for us on Tuesday....

And they were DELICIOUS!!!! We LOVED them and I must say, it wasn't difficult at all. Just a little time consuming...do this, then wait...next do this and wait...So, I must admit we ate our dinner rolls AFTER our meal, but oh well. I was so excited to share them with my family that we didn't mind.

Mom, Dad, and Matthew popped in for a bit after dinner and they ate some too. I took Aunt Judy over a few for her and Uncle Mike...EVERYONE liked them...YEAH!! So, it was a success. When I was making them, I honestly had NO IDEA how they would turn out. Mom suggested I make these for Thanksgiving and I was SO excited.

After this, I now think that Fresh Bread baking in my oven is one of the best smells....

Love how excited you get over the simple things like yeast!...Actually, never knew yeast was simple. Maybe I should give it a try.
