Delaware Art Museum

Michaela and her friend, Danielle "discussing" this piece of Art!

The girls enjoyed the Children's section of the Art museum!

The Delaware Art Museum had Free Admission tonight from 5:30-7:30 in order to have Family and Friends swing by and see a special Art display: Art pieces from K-5 to 12th grade students from the local schools in the Red Clay District. Mom told us about this event last night, so we decided to check it out.

We enjoyed roaming the entire Art museum and saw a WIDE variety of styles. We really are lucky to have such a great museum only 10 minutes from our house! Michaela and Danielle had a great time, and had to be told 2 times to NOT touch the Art!! With 4 kids and 2 cameras (no flash allowed), I think the staff was watching out for us =) We never did anything, but they were ready just in case!!

After the museum, we enjoyed a late dinner at Jake's Burgers...Yumm-o!! We had a great night of Art, food, and friends!

I am glad you all had a great time. I just love the art museum. My favorite painter is Andrew Wyeth. Hope you guys go back again. Michaela maybe you can put your bird nest there...for all to enjoy.
