You can't catch me....

Today, we had a fabulous Family day! We saw a great Christmas Show put on by the Wilmington Fire Company, ate lunch ate Mom and Dad's, came home and played Candyland with MJ, and then the best part was making our First Ever Gingerbread Men Cookies!! Michaela had a BLAST using the cookie cutter and helping Daddy roll out the dough. We were all together in the kitchen helping!!

After they cooled, MJ and Daddy exercised their creativity while decorating these ADORABLE and DELICIOUS Men! We had a Phillies one for Pappy with a Happy Face and an Eagles one for Pappy with a sad face! We made one for Mommom with the words, "I love u." But, ultimately MJ's favorite way to decorate them was with a Sad Face, because as she explained they were sad that we were going to "eat them all up."

Here is some yet to be embellished proof of Daddy's creative hand...our Gingerbread couple!!

The entire family LOVED these cookies and agreed that we want to make them together EVERY year!! I can hardly wait! MJ said that this was her "Most favorite cookie."

What a GREAT Christmas day we shared...making memories together and sharing our love and time with each other!!! The BEST gift!!

Yummy, yummy! This is a great tradition to start with your family. I'm sure this will be something that Madelin and Michaela will look forward to and always remember as a very special time each Christmas.

P.S. Michaela, I saw your Counting Cows book in one of your pictures. Did you know that a man by the name of Woody Jackson draws those cows? He lives in Vermont - the same town where Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Walter live. We often see Woody Jackson walking around town! :)
