Happy Birthday Mommy!

When Michaela woke up yesterday, the first thing she said to me was, "Happy Birthday Mommy."

I had a fabulous day...The 4 of us went out to lunch together. My parents brought me the beautiful Roses! (I love them.) Mom and Dad watched the girls so Matt could take me out to dinner. We went to Washington Street Ale House in Wilmington. It is one of our favorites! Then we headed back to Mom and Dad's for cake and ice cream...Yumm-O! Oh, and my brother came home from New York to be with us...that was awesome. All in all, it was a great day. Thanks family, I love you guys so much. I never thought being 27 could be so GREAT!

Happy Birthday, Melissa!
I remember when you were born and now you are a Mommy with two beautiful girls of your own. It looks like you had a wonderful day. I love the idea of lunch out, the pink roses are so pretty, Uncle Walter & I love the Washington Street Ale House in Wilmington, love cake and ice-cream but most of all I love you!

PS~By the way, Uncle Walter and I were at the Washington Street Ale House about 10 years ago. Uncle Walter was looking at the pictures on the walls that were all old Wilmington scenes. He looked at one and said, "That's my Grandfather"! Are the photos still there as part of their decor? Grandfather Deverell is the gentleman standing behind a counter selling liquor to a customer. Quite interesting.
