Too Sweet...

This Moment is Too Sweet: Reflecting on how Sweet life is...

by: Melissa

Still with the glow of youth at 27,
Molding a concept into a means of living,
Providing freedom, time, security, for our family to enjoy,
My best friend, my heart, my hero.
I can't thank you enough.

Bringing me sunshine every day for 2 and a half years,
Growing, learning, exploring, and loving,
Challenging me to be better for you,
My sweetness, my future, my gift.
I can't thank you enough.

Anxiously waiting to meet you, while loving you even now,
Enabling another measure of blessing,
As I help you grow and learn,
My angel, my future, my gift.
I can't thank you enough.

Twenty-six and a half years ago, your arms
Embracing me in unending love,
Now extending your love to my babies,
My foundation, my encouragers, my teachers.
I can't thank you both enough.

Sacrificially paying a debt that I could never pay,
Continually and unconditionally loving me,
Providing a way for me to know You for all time,
My Savior, my Hope, my All.
I can't thank You enough.

That was a beautiful poem. I think it should be published. You are a sweet daughter and I love you and am proud of you. You are a great wife and mother too.
Love,
Mom
